Overall, Star Wars: Galaxies is a game that is solid, however it offers very little to differentiate itself from the competition apart from the obvious brand name recognition. The potential is there to allow Galaxies to be a unique and very fun game, however it seems that while a lot of though has been put into how they will do things, very little thought has been put into what things they intend to do.
It is my personal hope that with the next expansion pack, Jump to Lightspeed, users will see more content and more activities to perform. Until that day however, Star Wars: Galaxies will remain a merely average (albeit potentially fun) MMORPG with some unique features.
