Deck13 Working on New "Dystopian" RPG with Focus Home Interactive

Focus Home Interactive has hit us up with a press release revealing that it's currently working with German developer Deck13 on an unannounced dystopian sci-fi action-RPG, poised to release on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in 2017. Bizarrely, considering they were the ones to make the announcement in the first place, the developer and publisher duo weren't willing to reveal many details on the as of yet untitled game, and only teased some "innovative" character progression mechanics paired up with some "visceral" combat:

We are thrilled to announce our partnership with Deck13 Interactive, Frankfurt based developer famed for games such as Lords of the Fallen, to bring you a new premium action RPG IP set in a dystopian sci-fi future to be revealed by name at a later date.
The new game will feature innovative combat mechanics and an original character progression system based on modular upgrades gained through tight, visceral combat.
Of the new partnership, Deck13 Interactive CEO's Florian Stadlbauer and Jan Klose said, respectively, "We are delighted to be working with Focus Home Interactive. Our relationship with the company over the past few months has created a lot of trust and confidence already. During the past years, the Focus team has shown that they are extremely successful in marketing European titles worldwide."
Klose, CEO and Creative Director, stated "After our recent major project, the team at Deck13 is eager to take on the next challenge. We have learned a lot and want to deliver an even greater experience to core gamers this time."

The unannounced IP will be revealed at a later date, and the game is expected to launch on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC with a retail and digital release in 2017.
Focus Home Interactive has been very interested in the action-RPG genre as of late. They recently announced The Technomancer, a Mars: War Logs sequel/spin-off from SPIDERS, and Vampyr, an action-RPG set during World War I with a vampire as a protagonist, developed by the folks at DONTNOD Entertainment (you might know the name from the successful Life is Strange episodic adventure).
Meanwhile, Deck13 seems intent to return to the arena after seeing its partnership with City Interactive abruptly interrupted, despite the overall decent commercial and critical results of Lords of the Fallen. We'll see how this new collaboration goes.
