You might not remember that a Deus Ex movie, based on Eidos Montreal's prequel Human Revolution, is currently in the works, considering the news is from 2012 and we haven't heard much if anything about it since the announcement, but IGN did, and interviewed director Scott Derrickson about it. Derrickson is understandably tight-lipped on details, but still offers a good idea of the approach he's taking when adapting the material, and also explains where he feels other videogame adaptations have failed in the past.
