Sword of Fargoal 2 Kickstarter Project Updates #7-8, $17,123 and Counting

Right now you will see that our Fargoal 2 project is trending below goal (62% of goal as-of this writing to be exact). At the beginning of our campaign we were trending as high as 111% of goal, and we've dropped as low as 61% until a bump upward yesterday. Yes, that *does* mean we need to find more backers, get more press coverage, and get the word out more, more, MORE! Many sleepless nights this past 15 days are proof that we are trying our best to do just that!!
The good news is, we've actually seen this pattern before with a couple of recent projects where in some cases at this point in their campaign they were projected even lower than ours currently is. That was followed by an impressive rebound near the *very end* of their campaign. In one such example they went from 72% funding to 101% literally in the last 22 hours!
Our own campaign may in fact be one of those nail-biters, so we really appreciate all of you loyal supporters sticking with us. In fact, we honestly feel very hopeful that we will reach our goal by the official end of our campaign on Friday, October 13, 2012 at 3:01 pm PST.
We are also happy to report that we've had the pleasure of being interviewed by three great Game Review sites in the past couple of days. The resulting in-depth stories are expected our early next week, and we can't wait to share them with you. We also may see an endorsement from one or more of the recently-successful Kickstarter campaigns before our fundraising period ends.
