We've known since Overhaul Games' original announcement of a Baldur's Gate: Enhanced Edition that the expanded title would be out sometime this summer (about two-and-a-half months to go), but we never had a firm date of when to expect the Baldur's Gate II: Enhanced Edition that was announced alongside it. Until tonight, anyway, when Overhaul's Trent Oster took to Twitter to announce that BG2:EE is scheduled for a 2013 release. On top of that, he pretty much squashes any hopes for a GOG.com version of either: #bg2ee will be in 2013. We have no plans to put the game on gog. The Jellybean encryption sounds interesting, but we are hard up for time.
