Crimson Alliance Submitted For Certification, More E3 Coverage

Not only have we learned that Certain Affinity's Crimson Alliance has been submitted to Microsoft for certification, but we also have a new hands-on preview, a video interview, and some demo footage to share with you today.

We'll start off with the preview, which is up at Sarcastic Gamer:
Apart from the electric attack, I was able to block enemy attacks ala a Gandalf-like aura. This ability doesn't last long, but it provides adequate coverage if things go sour. By far my favorite ability was the teleport, exclusive to the wizard. No matter where I was, I could teleport forward a few feet. This was especially useful because it could go through enemies, which allowed me to get the jump on them or escape imminent danger. In addition to the powers unique to the characters, consumable items could be found and equipped throughout the dungeon. I was able to find throwing axes, bait, and auto turrets to use. The bait was by far my favorite as I would wait for the enemies to gather around it, then blast a charged fireball into the middle of the pack.

Apart from that, what was expected of dungeon crawling was there. We met up with some bosses that had to be defeated along side the hordes of goblins. Since our characters were completely over-geared for the difficulty and level we were playing, these didn't pose much of a problem. I was able to sneak in half a dungeon's worth on the most difficult setting after our initial playthrough.
