Looking at page 3 of The Sun at break... satisfying hospital passes in rugby after pouring over some text books on physics... then heading home and doing the homework, while the computer naggs and say, just move the mouse... have an hour of Quake can't hurt? Just bully a few poepl.. say umm 5 and when you've done that you can get back to that thing your doing.. for that annoying Musics Teacher.. Wragg is it???

Nah,school isn't the bad guy - Homework is.

i dont get to spend much time talking but in mys chool there isnt such thing as homework we are self paced and can basicaly leave the school anytime after 12:30 when we want but still SCHOOL SUCKS

You don't have anything to be nervous about Gaxx. If you have friends you'll fit right in, no problem. Just remember one thing, people in High School are usually very shallow and insecure so whatever they say to you, take it with a grain of salt. I dont mean steryotype high school students by saying that, but thats just what I feel based on my own experience.

Nah, school don't suck, at least not completely. The disciplinary systems are royally screwed at the schools I went to, and from what I've observed the educational systems of Arizona are royally screwed as well. I know a 2nd grader who supposedly has a 5th grade reading level, but can't read worth beans. But then, I'm used to Texas where a 2nd grader(at least the ones at the 20 million different Texas schools I've been in) can read better than the 5th graders here in Arizona. I loved school, until I hit middle school. That hurt big time. Those glass doors are harder than concrete! Actually, when I reached middle school/junior high, my opinion of school did change drastically. I hated the disciplinary system because I always ended up in trouble when I didn't do anything wrong. i.e., a boy attacked me after school and I never had the chance to fight back, but we were both given OCS(On Campus Suspension) and I ended up stuck in OCS for 3 times as long as he did!

However, the main change in my perspective was my general perspective of learning. I still love to learn and continue to search out new information on my own, but not quite as diligently as I used to. Up through the 6th grade, and even to an extent through the 10th grade, I focused on learning. I grew intellectually, but not emotionally/etc; so now I am focusing more on growing up in general to catch up with my intellectual age. When I was in elementary school, I didn't hate homework because I "didn't have any" so to speak. I'd get it all done in class, long before time to go home. Now, I despise homework.

Aheem - I know - I've been going to a university for 4 years before this, but it was a so freaking boring education (econmics) so I've decided to start computer science instead
