Which brings me to another point. Even more frustrating is the fact that the book uses a double-standard; Drizzt is severely toned down from his previous incarnations, but some lower-level NPCs have even better and more expensive items than he does. What's the deal with that? If you're going to stick to a pre-defined format, at least use the same format for everyone involved. This just makes everyone's favorite dark-elf look discriminated against; poor Drizzt! Anyhow, he could kick Sean K. Reynolds' butt.
Anyone else have this book, and would like to make some comments? What did you think of it?
