First off, the "FOR THE LOVE OF GOD PLEASE HELP ME JESUS" lines aren't necessary.

And if you haven't given her the ingredients, then you won't get the cure. She uses said ingredients to make the cure.

LOL, the sounds of a desperate gamer.

Back on topic, could the items have been stolen. I can't remember properly, but I don't think the witch accepted stolen items. If you are playing on the PC, then there should be a console command to complete the quest.

normane, you have encountered a prevailent bug that comes with the Game of the Year edition, or an original edition of Oblivion that has the Shivering Isles expansion installed, whereby the witch will not accept the bloodgrass at all. I have the same problem and its driving me mad.
The only way around it is to load up your save-file with an original edition of Oblivion (the white box one), whereby you can then give the bloodgrass to the witch, and then save your game file and proceed to play using the GOTY version.

So, our only hope is if some kind soul lets us send our save-game files, for them to do this bit of the quest, save, and then send the files back to us.

Anyone able to help?

You could get the Vile Lair Expansion. You don't need all the guff if you have it. Just go the VL, collect some purge salts (from rock formation beside the pool) take a dip and touch the pillar in the middle of the pool. Cured.

I'm surprised. Expansions usually come out in the other game consoles, don't they?

Expansion (SI) yes, DLCs not yet,

Do you know why PS3 doesn't have the DLC while XBOX 360 has?

Its proper name is Deepscorn Hollow, and you can only get it as an expansion/add-on, and Master David said you can't yet get it for PS3 version of the game. :(

Shivering Isles and Knights of The Nine...
And until now, only those two are available.
This lack of mod makes the PC version way better

DLC stands for DownLoadable Content = official plug in = official mod = official add on

You can obtain a DLC by downloading it via XBOX Live (for XBOX 360), or just download it via the normal "internet" (for PC)

But there's no way to get a DLC (except the two that you already have) on PS3 (at least yet).

The point is: you can't have Vile Lair on PS3
