greatsword or falchion?

Post by ShadowOnTheSun »

which weapon do you think is better the greatsword or the falchion and why? and which one looks cooler (which one has cooler customizations)? (as you can tell i do not have the game yet but i ll be getting it soon and i am trying to make up some characters based on these weapons.) (for cases of coolness it would be great if you gave me screenshots or pics of how the weapons look, thx :) )

Falchion

Increased crit range more then makes up for the lesser damage potential, and the adamantinum falchion looks absolutely wicked (A vicious looking black blade with huge spikes).

If you care more for looking good then munchkinising then you might want to get monkey grip and duel wield them (If only I could make myself some black fullplate to go with them...)

To be fair though, the greatsword looks pretty good as well.

You could get a firsthand look at most of the equipment in the game by firing up the toolset when you get the game. From there, you can select any weapon you wish to view.
