Help please!

Hi,

I have just downloaded the game and applied v1.6 patch.

Everything was fine until I tried to create a new profile. Whatever I was typing for a name it was always rejected for containing invalid characters.

Has somebody any idea?

Well, that's an odd error. I'm assuming you're just using regular letters when it pops up.

You should try starting the game without the patch, and if you still get the error, then you should get technical support from the company you downloaded the game from. If the patch is causing the problem, then maybe you downloaded a patch for a different language version of the game or something.

ok now

hi,

it's me again. I've done everything you are saying, normal letters for the profile name, correct patch and also problem existed from the beginning. That's why I downloaded the patch to see if it is going to fix it.

However, after hours of search I found that the problem was wrong registry entries from the installation:speech:. I've found now the correct ones. Works finally.

I'm telling you all these just to know in case of someone else having the same problem as me.

try going to the icon on the desk top properties and run as administrator, this happens when the firewall blocks you from using you own data on your computer.
