When first entering the Main Area on Nar Shadaa you meet two beggars. The second beggar that you meet, you can threaten him or give him credits. Since I'm playing dark side, i threatened him. Kreia got upset "telepathically", and tries to show me how small dark side acts lead to bigger ones. I just come out with DS points and doesn't give me the options i found on other sites that leads to influence. It works only if i do light side, but these other sites say i can do it by being dark side too.
Please if anyone has an answer or has experienced the same thing or has gained the influence, just tell me
Influence Glitch? on Nar shadaa
It happened with me also, and I was a LS character. I think it has something to do with a limit of influence on Kreia (5 or 6).
Carth: Wow. She really misses her droid, doesn't she?
Bastila: There is no need for you to make fun of her. She is obviously desperate.
Carth: I'll say.
Bastila: Carth! Enough!

it's weird though because if I choose the LS option, i'm given the oportunity to say I understand to kreia after the cut scene which gives me influence. If i choose the DS option and don't give him the money, I'm not given the opportunity for influence after the cut scene. The site Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords NPC Influence FAQ (XBox) - IGN FAQs tells me one thing but i don't get that option. I don't even get an option after the cut scene.
*Possible Spoiler*
*Possible Spoiler* Hold on, you are not given the option to say "I understand, I will think about what you have said." to Kreia after refusing to give the guy credits? I think it is a glitch then, because I got that option when I refused to give the guy credits.
I checked that website and I remember gaining influence on Mandalore for killing Tobin inside the Ravager but never again when I played two more times doing exactly what I had done before.
If it is not a glitch, then I wonder whether one needs high Intelligence and Wisdom to make it work as a dark sider even if the dialogue options are exactly the same. In the background, I wonder, the game expects a 14 for both Wisdom and Intelligence for example.
Intelligence plays an awesome role in dialogue. A 15 of Intelligence will give you additional options with Mira and T3-M4 in dialogue.
