So I just got finished cloakwood mines, got inside baldurs gate for the first time, I have 40k gold on me but nowhere to spend it really. Any places that actually sell decent gear?
Also, where can I find a decent club? I'm playing the Tutu version where Jaheira has 2 stars in clubs, but shes still using the starter club atm. She cannot use any other melee weapons either really. Any help?
Where to spend my gold?

The merchant in Ulgoth's Beard has some decent items:
- Greenstone Amulet: Immune to virtually all mental attacks (charm, hold, fear, etc)
- Quarter Staff +3
- Cloak of Displacement (+4 AC vs missiles, +2 death, breath, wand saving throws)
- Ring of Invisibility (i think it has 7 charges)
There's also a bunch of wizard scrolls various merchants have, those are nice if only for the XP.

Now that you are finished with the Cloakwood Mines, you can head for Baldur's Gate. The Thieves Guild and magic shops there have a lot of potions you might be interested in. They're not as glamorous as mighty swords and shiny armor, but buffing up your characters with potions can really make a difference, so you should use them often. That will certainly give you a chance to spend some gold.
If you have a lot of money, sell the ring and buy it back so it'll be fully charged. This is a great way to waste money on wands as well.anarchistica wrote: - Ring of Invisibility (i think it has 7 charges)
