Dungeon Lords Expansion Pack and Sequel Announced

Post by BuckGB »

Good news, Dungeon Lords fans. JoWood and Dreamcatcher have announced that both a Dungeon Lords sequel and standalone expansion pack are in the works. Comments?

Excellent.. now if resellers would quit selling the non ce version, MAYBE then there will be a renewed interest in this good (but otherwise unknown and/or maligned) game. :)

If they can make both work beautifully, then I can't wait.

Not prize winners, sure. But some of them are still half decent. :p

It can't be worse than the original Dungeon Lords, that's for sure. Though, they have a good chance to learn from their mistakes and make it an awesome game, both expansion and sequel, I hope they do so.

Ouch. Talk about harsh criticism. :)

Still, I agree with you.

Its not that they dont have good storylines (cultures and cultures 2 are good examples of this) they just tend to make things too complex to keep up with (refer to the same games )

Sometime this year, so likely third quarter. Actually, it could be any time. Remember how c1.5 was released as a continuation rather than a patch. MAN what a ripoff. Anyhow, I'll get them just to prove it's playable. For some strange reason I've never had any problems with the DL series.
