Annoying armor bug

Post by Karmashock »

For whatever reason the armor seems to be bugged in this game. Whenever I examine any armor there's no information at all in the window... completely blank. Furthermore, it seems to have no effect when worn with the exception that it sometimes changes my appearance.

In addition my armor class seems bugged. I seem to have a "negative" armor class by default and I've never been able to get classes higher then 2 AC... and the rings etc that effect armor class don't seem to work either.

If you scroll over any armor instead of giving it's name it calls it a "personal item"... all armor is titled "personal item".

Armor is there just for appearance.

Negative armor class was used in 2E rules of D&D. The lower the AC, the better.

Some pieces of equipment ARE personal items, such as default clothing or weapons. If you remove armor for some characters they'd be nude.

These are not bugs, except that upon examining the armor, you should be given a description.
“The world breaks every one and afterward many are strong at the broken places. But those that will not break it kills. It kills the very good and the very gentle and the very brave impartially.”

I figured out the armor rating bit... so negative is good.

But there should be descriptions for the armor and there aren't any... ever. I have no idea what things do when it comes to armor.
