Fencing ahead of schedule ok?

Post by cyork2 »

Can I go ahead and fence all I want as a newbie thief or will it mess up the thieves guild quests if I don't do it in the progression (500 first, then a guild quest etc)?

Thx.

You can fence all you want up front and avoid doing independent thievery in between missions as long as you fenced enough earlier to meet each goal. If your quest log seems to get stuck on "I need to fence X gold", you might have to wait or fast travel someplace after you complete each mission to trigger the next one.
Can the answer to this question be "No"?

It's completely fine as far as I can tell but I would recommend doing the missions in between. If you leave them too long they become ridiculously easy.
