favored weapon?

favored weapon?

what does the favored weapon from your deity do? I have found no bonuses, or an explanation for it.

As far as I know it does nothing at this time. However in the upcoming NWN 2 expansion Mask of the Betrayer, there will be a new base class called the Favored Soul. Favored Souls gain feats based on their deity's favored weapon.
Sage plays a paladin,
because other classes would be frowned upon for laying their hands on a wounded companion

There should be one other use. Clerics with the War domain should gain a feat based off the deity's favored weapon...
