Help Plz!!!!!! (West Gate)

i have done everything that needs to be done but i cant leave fargrove by the west gate. i can leave through the gate doors by the guards but the poticullis is still shut and will not open. any ideas as to why or any suggestions as to what i should do? any help would be appreciated. thanxs

Is this your first or second time for leaving Fargrove? Try using the walkthroughs to get past any major stumping points.

This is a problem that people report from time to time. You might try searching for "west gate" to see other discussions about it, but if there's a solution (other than using the saved game editor), I don't know what it is.

This worked for me!!!!

I tried this for the first time today and it works. Luckily I had a save to use. Hope it works for you too! I got it from the link below, Thanks goes to Phlex on the Dreamcatcher Forums. I'm running NON-CE 1.4 and it was on a LAN game if that makes a difference.

Can't leave Fargrove!!! - DreamCatcher Forums

Assuming you have a recent save before trying to exit Fargrove - Here is my fix:

Exit South Gate - do not attempt to exit West Gate at all - Go back through sewers, through the town, and then out the West Gate. This worked for me.

If you do not get bumped into sewers when exiting South Gate, just re-enter Fargrove and try going back out through the West Gate.
