What is the highest level(s) of your party after finishing BGI with TOSC? Are there level limits on BGII?

Check this out:

89k is for BG1.
161k is for BG1 with TotSC installed too.
2950k is for BG2:SoA.
8000k is for BG2:SoA with ToB installed too.

When I played BG1:

I completed every BG1 quest that could be done before Chapter 6.

Then, before initiating Chapter 6, I did all the TotSC expansion areas.

Early on in Chapter 5, all my dudes had over 89k.

Halfway thru TotSC, all my dudes were maxed out at 161k.

So, XP-wise, I gained nothing from Durlag's Tower, Chapter 6, or Chapter 7. This illustrates that the highest levels of a party after finishing BG1 and/or TotSC will be, in all probablility, max levels.
Why is it that whenever I finally get around to playing a new game for the first time,
I feel like playing Baldur's Gate for the second time...

There are XP cap removers that can be downloaded and installed though and I often use these as I hate reaching a point where its almost pointless killing things or doing side quests. In my opinion, it is far too easy to reach the max levels long before the end of the game so I remove the XP cap and then if I find the battles become too easy then I just knock the difficulty level up a few notches :)
