I am now playing my second Arcanum game as a Dwarf Melee Fighter and my goal is to team up with Dwarfs like Loghaire. I was wondering if I should spend my point on IN and make myself and followers Elite Chainmail or should I wait and get myself Iron Clan Armor and Hammer. Secondly, can I get 3 Hammers + Armor @ the Iron Clan?
Also, next game I will be playing as a mage and try to collect Arcane stuff but there is something I don't understand. What do the ( ) in the stats mean? Like:
Power Axe (T): D 5-18, FT 3-11 <<< this is normal
Arcane Sword (M): D 1-8 (+16), FT 1-4 (+8) etc <<< D 1-8 (+16) why and when +16? Why are there () in the stats?
Thanks, SP.

Remember that to get Loghaire you have to have high intelligence (19 IIRC), however th Intelligence boost potions can help there as well as when using schematics.
To get the dwarf on the prison isle you need to be expert in persuasion, and to keep him, leave him outside the Iron Clan the first time you visit.
The (+16) is based on your magic affinity, the bonus goes up as your magic affinity level rises, but goes down if it falls. If you magic/technology is balanced or more toward technology then you get no bonus.
