Shivering Isles - Knights of Order Question (spoiler)

Post by Indianasmith »

OK, when you approach one of those obelisks that seem to generate Knights of Order like a slot machine spits out coins on a jackpot, how do you shut it down? I put several "Hearts of Order" on it and then killed the priest, but it did not shut down. I don't know if the priest reactivated it before I could kill him or what, but I had so many of those stinking crystal armored critters attacking me I just ran for it. Not only that, they knocked my good, enchanted glass longsword out of my hand into some tall grass where I never could find it. What am I not doing right?

Well, I just started playing yesterday, but I think the best approach here goes like something to the order of: a. kill priests, b. insert three hearts, c. kill knights. The faster you go about it, the fewer knights there will be waiting for you at c. Then again, I was drunk all day so.. I wouldn't be surprised if I missed out on the finer details.

All you need is 3 hearts... I think the priest of order can "heal" the obelisks though... Meaning you need more hearts...

It is a pain, really. BTW, NPC say you cannot kill a priest without deactivating an obelisk first. Go figure.
