Shadow keeper problem?

I am soloing as a monk but i don't like the way monks look on the game so i went to the charecteristics part of the shadowkeeper program and changed his appearance from a MonkHumanMale to Monk (like the green robed candelkeep dudes) but everytime i load the game i don't get past the loading screen, a window pops up that says
"ChVidImage.ccp at line #1849
Programmer says: .BAM is corrupted (GetFrame()failed) any ideas on how to solve this

This is actually a known bug, I think. Ironwork posted the cheat method of doing this a while back, using cntrl shift 9 an 8, I think, but have warned this cheat was buggy. I think you're better off accepting the "doll" and go back to a saved game before editing...
