I'm sorry if this has been mentioned already, I scanned over the last few pages and couldn't find anything
Planescape:Torment is now offered on Gametap. For those of you who don't know, Gametap is a service that allows you to download unlimited games for about 10 dollars a month. It has a bunch of other good games, like Baulder's Gate 1 and 2 among others. I myself only joined because of they released new Sam and Max adventure games through the service, but have definetly find some other great stuff on there including Planescape
The problem with Gametap, however is that you play through the gametap client. Which means you have to start the Gametap program to get to the game. This makes it very difficult if not impossible to patch and I have actually run into a problem where the game crashes on loading the save game menu.
Nevertheless, hopefully some other people have more luck with it, and I think having it on the service will attract alot of new fans.
Oh, the website for Gametap is here, if any of you are interested: GameTap Play hundreds of your favorite video games.

I frankly hope nobody who wants the game goes to Gametap. You don't have the box and manual which came with the title, offering both useful content and some nostalgia value. (I've still got mine.) You can't play away from the Web, so if you're server goes down, or you're in transit without a network, sucks to be you.
If Gametap itself ever goes down, again, you're stuck, even if you have Web access.
My point: you don't really own a singleplayer game it if you don't have in your hands to play when and where you wish. For the little it costs when you search for it elsewhere, I'd suggest buying a full copy of PS:T.

To the Righteous belong the fruits of violent victory. The rest of us will have to settle for warm friends, warm lovers, and a wink from a quietly supportive universe.

I completly agree. I've gotten to try Planescape through Gametap, which let me know that it was definetly game I wanted to play but due to the numerous problems (No Patching, Only playing through Gametap, no manual, no mod ability) it is much smarter to simply buy the game. If nothing else, if already have Gametap for other reasons it can let you try out the game but it's much better to just buy the title
