Ever see this problem? (spoilers)

Post by DarthMalevolent »

Highlight: In the Jedi Academy on Telos during the final battle with 5 of the 6 Handmaidens, just before defeating all of them, the game re-entered the dialog with the handmaiden in which she you say "So you admit defeat" blah blah blah, then you choose the option to fight all of them together. Once I got past that dialog, it re-entered combat with the ones remaining. After defeating them (easily, since they were all down on VP), I was unable to rejoin my party members and board the ebon hawk. *shrug* I'm going to reload and do it again, it just seemed weird.

I havent experienced this whilst playing before. It seems that every day something new comes up that has happened to people. Maybe the KOTOR games aren't as glitch-free as they could be. But still, excellent games non-the-less.

Hmm, I've not heard of this before, but just a thought: are you accidentally starting a conversation with one of the defeated handmaidens? That way, the order the game is going on could get screwy.

I've considered that, and actually I believe that's probably what happened. In the heat of battle I clicked on her when she went "inactive" or something.

Same here. This never happened to me before. And yes, I also noticed that there are always new bugs popping out of this game quite frequently. It just makes me wonder why there aren't any more patches (official) aside from this single patch released by Obsidian.
''They say truth is the first casualty of war. But who defines what's true? Truth is just a matter of perspective. The duty of every soldier is to protect the innocent, and sometimes that means preserving the lie of good and evil, that war isn't just natural selection played out on a grand scale. The only truth I found is that the world we live in is a giant tinderbox. All it takes...is someone to light the match" - Captain Price

If you have a problem with the moderators actions, then take it up with a moderator, perhaps either myself or fable if not the moderator in question; or go straight to Buck Satan if you do not wish to discuss it with the Moderators.

However, moderators are assigned by Buck himself, to keep an eye on the forum, and keep posts made in the threads within the context of the forum rules, and possible assign infractions to people. The validity of an infraction will not be discussed on the forum, so it should be taken to the PM, and asking for "support" should not either, as it to say the least is very far from the threads topic, and is rather trollish behaviour - as gathering "public pressure" to revoke infractions.
So take it to the PMs, lest (more) posts will start to be deleted for being off-topic.

Now, Back on topic.
