Using explosives given by Gen Matix in DD

I just purchased the game Divine Divinity and I am enjoying heaps. Iahve a problem with using the explosives that are given by Genenral Matix to destroy the orc camp. Can anyone help me, pleeease?

Are those the ones meant for the well? Because if so, you simply have them in your inventory, click on the well, then run as fast as you can away.

Have u got the barrel of explosive from Matrix?? if so go to destoyed village find the compound dump the barrel & scarper as fast as u can
