Vale of merdelain (Spoiler?)

Hi,
i need help completing the first part of vale of merdelain in act 3.
i´m stuck after the room with the nighwalkers in it (#7 in the map,walkthrough)
i can´t get through the black fog so i can´t leave this area.
can anyone help me? :confused:

You're trying to get to #9, not #3, if that isn't clear.
