Will my stuff dissapear?

How to limit inventory?

I am about to finish Act I and, as when I left, have encountered a very serious problem: I am a pack rat.

Since the start of the game I have been collecting and storing in the battlefields all the items I think I might use later or that might be helpful. Now that's all fine and dandy, until you get to act 2 and realise the battlefield where you're saving all this junk is gone along with said items.

I've spent some time gettign rid of the useless items, and now I am down to magical items, items that I can't use yet because my stats are too low, and food.

I can't carry everything, but alot of the stuff I really like and I'm not sure if anything better will come long later. How do I decide what to keep and what to sell?

It all depends on what you want for your various items. For weapons, I tend to go for additional damage plus mana leech. I don't remember any of the other weapon possibilities, but hopefully a search thru here or a walkthru may help.

Food gets useless after you improve one of the Survivor skills for life regeneration. About the only way anyone here can provide advice is to let us know what items you do have and what you're trying to accomplish for the character.
I'd rather be part bull than a complete sheep.

I always made that tough choice like this: compare your items of the same type (i.e. all weapons, all helmets, all armor, etc). If it's not one of the best 3 items, sell it. In addition, if it's quite cheap even if you thought it was rather good, there must be a reason why your other items are rated much higher --> sell it.
I must say that just selling the junk of the junk usually gave me enough money to get by. In addition it helps to "plunder" the army stock when you're allowed to take whatever you need from there. Then sell it back to them :mischief:
