hi.
I am sort of a beginner to the D&D univers and now that i hav bought the game i can´t deside on what type of charater i want, well i want a fighter but i dont know very much about the classes and xp penalty and all that, but a friend recomended this build for me, and i wondered if it was any good for a starter.
he said that he had playd with it and was relly satisfied with it, I think the build looks cool, and I have checked on what feats to take and all that but i need to know, is it a good build
A sheild or gold dwarf and 7 levels of Fighter, 7 levels of weaponmaster and 6 levels of dwarven defender.
Pleas help me.
If the spelling is a bit wrong is it because I am from Norway
Is this a good build F/WM/DD?

Welcome to the boards.
I am no expert but hey if you like it thats whats important.
You can try to do a search for "build" or "fighter" as I bet there are some suggestions already in the forum, at least until someone offers other suggestions.

Trust me, most of the names I have been called you can't translate in any language...they're not even real words as much as a succession of violent images.

I'm not a big fan of the defensive orientation of the DD prestige class. I would probably drop those levels and take more Fighter levels instead. Your friend is right, though, to limit the Weapon Master to level 7. Beyond that, there aren't many benefits.
However, there is really nothing wrong with the build you propose. Your best bet would be to try it. If you find that you aren't using the DD abilities, you can always stop advancing in that direction and just add fighter levels.
