Tips for beating shadow fiends?

Heh all, restarted the standard campaign with a bard. I have soloed the whole first act up until Helm's Hold without summons for the exp.. I took LAra the cleric with me to the cure ritual, just incase i would need her at helm's hold. In the courtyard are four shadow fiends. I stand no chance against them myself. My spells are mainly mind affecting and I tried run and gun tactics. So I go to get Lara. She has +2 Ac from Mage Armour, and a lvl9 bard song. Also I have cast curse song. However, the fiends are just brutal. They are just sapping the strength left and right. They never miss with there touch attack and it makes Lara never hit. I was hoping she would just summon fire from heaven or something but she always rushes in to attack. Anyway to get her to use all her cleric spells instead of fighting them? Any tips for avoiding there touch attack? How do you beat these guys? Sure I could just bypass them I guess and skip the exp, but I know I will have to fight one later on the top lvl. The game says they are only of moderate difficulty but I am finding them harder than the challenging monsters. Any help would be appreciated. I don't remember them being in the courtyard. The first time I played there were curst rangers and only one shadow fiend in the whole complex. I guess thats what I get for leveling faster. Is there a particular cleric spell they are weak against? Maybe I have a scroll I can use? They have like 50% concealment too! Maybe form the skeleton clerics? Will killing the skeleton clerics remove the concelament?

I was thinking maybe if I went in on my own with haste and used a magic missile wand then invisibility...to kill the priests and then run away. Will they follow me out the gate if I am invisible?

Help. Never had this much trouble at Neverwinter before.
