After getting into the DB my first assignment was to murder a ships Captain. Simple enough. But I am trying to not have to kill the entire crew. After I off the Captain, two more sailers come in and I have to kill them too. After that, I get spotted trying to dive off the upper deck into the water, and the remaining crew attacks and gets wiped out by the guards (who must have not seen or heard what transpired on board ship). Does anyone have advice on how to make this a clean kill without collateral damage?

P.S. I'm sure this is covered in the sticky on walkthroughs, but I cannot get to those pages because of websense. It's a wonder I can even get to this page.
If you leave immediately after killing the captain, you can get out of there before the other crewmen come in and discover what you've done, so if you want to avoid collateral damage you might have to leave some loot behind. After you dive off the back of the ship, swim across the lake and walk ashore on the other side. If the crew never gets the chance to actually attack you, the guards might not attack them.
I went back to try again, and this time discovered the back door opposite the one I came in through. I was trying to use the same door that I entered through the first time. Just barely enough time to loot the caprain, loot his treasure chest and use his key to get out the back way (hard lock) before his cronies burst in. Hah! This side, as you said faces the bay, not the docks. Clean kill.
