Need Help Nerevarine's third trial. (Spoiler?)

Post by VAZMAN »

I have the House Dagoth cup and the Corprus Weepings. I raided Kogoruhn earlier in the game and took the Shadow Shield. I have since sold it. i don't know who i sold it to. Is there any way to make it generate somewhere in the game? Or can I continue on main quests without completing the third trial? I tried entering the Cavern of the Incarnate to get the Moon-and-Star ring, but was not allowed. I tried the 6 am / pm entry times. They did not work. p.s I am playing the Xbox version of the game with Bloodmoon and Tribunal expansion. Thanks in advance for any help.

I had already used the search function and just re-checked it again. There is no help for my problem that I could find. Any help would be appreciated.

I'm fairly certain that the Shadow Shield is a unique item, which means that it is not located anywhere else in the game. If you were on PC you could simply edit it in via the console, but that is not possible with the XBox.

So, since you *need* the shield to continue, your choices are to either remember where you sold it, visit every merchant in the game you've had dealings with, or start a new game.
I strongly suggest that in subsequent games you sell only to one merchant, certainly no more than three, it makes things easier in situations like this.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news....

@ML,
I also often refer people to the search function, but sometimes it takes a bit of practice knowing what key words to punch in :)
