Contruction set for the Xbox???

Post by Mr. Arrow »

This is a bit of a dumb question...
but anyway is there a construction set available for the 360?
i was unable to locate any topics on this in a search.

if there is is it worth getting?
EDIT:also where would i be able to buy it?
Why am I fighting to live, if I'm just living to fight? Why am I trying to see, when there aint nothing in sight? Why am I trying to give, when no one gives me a try? Why am I dying to live, if I'm just living to die?

Short version: no.

Long Microsoft-bashing version: I'd bet pretty good money that Oblivion uses exactly the same data files on PC and 360. I'd go so far as to say that a mod you make for PC with the TES Construction Set would probably work on the 360 if you could get it on there. But you can't, because Microsoft's greed and paranoia led them to a draconian DRM architecture for the 360. And don't be surprised if someday sooner than you expect the same thing is true on Windows. And if you don't like it, you can install Linux or just be happy with your $2000 doorstop. Check out the license agreement & GA specs for Vista if you want a little preview.

(I'm not trying to start a MS fan vs. MS basher flame war, but it did feel pretty good to get that off my chest :) )

---EDIT---

Seriously, no flames. I freely admit that Microsoft's draconian DRM architecture also happens to make the 360 far, far less vulnerable to malware than the PC platform is, which is a very good thing. You buy a console, you don't want to deal with all that PC crap.
Can the answer to this question be "No"?

thank you.
i searched a bit online and found that they talked about there being an xbox construction set, however, i couldn't find anything about buying it. Only the PC one.
Oh well...
I haven't played oblivion in a while and thought that the construction set would get me more into the game.
