Discipline skill?

Post by Ningengirai »

Am I blind, or did they remove 'Discipline'? I'm near to finishing the OC with a Warlock, and I can't count the number of times I've been knocked to the ground - but I can't find anything in the skills list to remedy that, either. Heck, even Khelgar, at least at the beginning of the game, was knocked over a couple of times, and he was a fighter at that point.

They ditched the Discipline skill and redid the way those feats work to work as they are supposed to for DnD. Now, it is an opposed Strength check. Meaning, it is a 1d20 roll + Str bonus between you and whoever is trying to knock you down. So, if you are lucky, you may win with a low strength, but it is highly unlikely against fighter types if you are a mage.

Mh, okay. That actually makes sense, even if it bugs me, because my Warlock needs every available point in Charisma. Ah well. Chugging potions it is, then.
