Evil Wizard and charisma

I started an Evil Sun Elf Wizard with 9 charisma, is that bad or can I buff it somehow? Also, is it true that if you're evil through the game most of your buddies will leave you? Thanks.

It's not bad, though it does affect your ability to use Diplomacy (if you choose to raise that non-wizard skill). But wizard spells are affected by their intelligence, not their charisma.

If your companions leave doesn't depend directly on your alignment but rather on the influence. So if you choose to deceive your good aligned companions and treat them well, they won't leave you. In my case for example only Sand left me in the end.

And I think it's inevitable that either Qara or Sand turns against you.

It is simple respect towards others to mark spoilers, especially for new games.
