alignment problem (possible minor spoiler)

Post by Moonmaid »

OK, so here's the deal: I just arrived at Amkethran in chap. 9 and I noticed that my alignment is now neutral evil when it has been lawful good!!! (I use holy smite a lot, that's why I noticed it)I suspect it's because the Blackrazor deal. I killed the genie but the alignment didn't change then. Is it ToB? And is there no way to change it back? Even an 'illegal' way... Please answer! :(

Yes, it is because of the Blackrazor thing. In fact, if you choose the 'evil' path in ANY of the Hell Challenges, your alignment changes permanently to Nuetral Evil. I dont think there is a way to get it back. However, the only ways I see this mattering are:
A) from a roleplaying viewpoint,
B) In the case of the fore-mentioned Holy Smite spell,
C) Lastly, if you are a Paladin or Ranger, I believe you lose your statues irrecorvably ( spelling? ).

Open the savegame in Shadow Keeper, go to the Local Affects section. Look for a Type: 0x0039, Param 2: 35. Delete it.
