NEED HELP!! Can't be named Hlaalu Horator (Poss. Spoilers)

Please help!! For some reason Crassius Curio will not give me the horator belt, even though every councillor in Hlaalu has named me horator (including Crassius) The only person who didn't name me horator is Orvas Dren, but I killed him anyway a long time ago in the game... (apparently that doesn't matter) Crassius keeps saying I still need to persuade the other councillors......

How do I get the belt?

Nope, I do have tribunal and bloodmoon installed, but no mods. Any ideas?

*Did you install as follows:

1.Morrowind
2.Tribunal
3. Bloodmoon

From what I gather, if you install Tribunal over Bloodmoon it can cause problems.

*Also, do you have the most recently released (probably final) patch? In your case, you'd need the Bloodmoon patch and your installation would go:

Morrowind
Tribunal
Bloodmoon
Bloodmoon patch

*Are you sure you've read the book that lists the councillors and went to each and every one?

You've probably done all of the above...I'm just trying to eliminate possibilities...
If you have indeed taken all of those steps.. you may have some kind of a weird bug...

did you go and see drens little puppies, if not you are suppose to visit them. once you tell them dren is dead they will give you there vote??

You don't have to kill Dren...you could just talk him up into it and but still as lord said if you haven't I would suggest you talk to his little dogs.

ok.. i did not kill him i think i had to bribe him with like 2 or 3k and he gave me his vote..

so try that mabe it will work for you too....

i went back to cheak and make sure i gave you the rite info. and i did.. do not kill Orvos Dren he has to use his influence to persuade the other councilors.. you should save it rite befor you talk to him cuz he ask you a question and you have answer rite.... if you answer wronge then he begins to fight with you witch is what i think you did ( i did the first time too ) so save it then talk to him, after you have bribed him to 100/100, and he should, after you answer the question rite, give you his vote and that in turn will get you the vote of the other two councilors....

then go talk to Curiuss Cuio ( or whatever his name is ) ....
