New Character

Post by tristan0606 »

Hi, i was going to start a new character, an Orc that was going to weild the best axe i could come up with, but in my old game I was a Woodelf, and the best blade i could find had an attack rating of 22, but the highest blunt weapon i could find was like 11. Is that just because blade was my Major Skill... or are blunt weapons really weak compared to blade weapons? Thanx in advance.

i prefer blade because they typically have greater attack speed and the damage is around the same.
If you are looking for a pure hack n slash character then go with a nord with blade or a redguard
Why am I fighting to live, if I'm just living to fight?Why am I trying to see, when there aint nothing in sight? Why am I trying to give, when no one gives me a try? Why am I dying to live, if I'm just living to die?

To answer your question: Yes, it depends on your character's level in that skill.
When your bluntskill is higher the blunt weapons will do more damage, as will blade weapons. I suppose this also works for bows.
The same goes for armor. The higher the skill, the higher your armor rating.

It is said...

Fer'or just said it right:

Code: Select all

  NO SKILL ---> NO DAMAGE
HIGH SKILL ---> HIGH DAMAGE
Life is an accidental chemical process that protected itself ingeniously. It is without purpose.
