Quest Items begone

Post by tristan0606 »

I dunno if this is just me, but im having problems with quest items staying in my inventory after ive completed the quest... and since they are quest items i cant drop them or put them anywhere. Most annoying are keys and items from the Ultimate Heist... has anyone had this problem, or know how to fix it?

Yah, this is a known (and very annoying) bug. There are numerous quest items you can't drop after you've completed the quest. I think I saw a previous thread with a console command to remove items if you're on PC so you could search the forum for that, but if you're on 360, I think you just have to live with it. Fortunately most quest items have 0 weight, so it's just an inconvenience for managing your inventory not an actual hit to your encumberance.
Can the answer to this question be "No"?

Most quest items CAN be dropped after the Quest has finished. There are only a few that cannot. Annoying, but... *shrug*
I only have 4 past-quest items in my inventory that I cannot remove, and my current char is Grey Fox and almost Archmage. In previous games I have been head of Fighter's Guild as well, and have never had more than 4/5 items I couldn't drop.
