I'm on Onderon and can't get the computer part fixed so I can move on with the murder investigation. I've reentered the situation twice and have followed the walk thru on this portion of the game with no luck.
The walk thru says, "But computer PART from (whatever the robots name is)" and I did - making sure it was the correct part - the HK part for the broken robot on the Ethan Hawk?
I'm about ready to stop trying since I've gotten stuck here with no success in getting the game to progress on. I thought I had to win the races to move on but 43 seconds?! My best time was 50 after a Mt. Dew and some Ginko!! LOL!

That HK processor you bought from that droid merchant has nothing to do with the quest. You need to buy a certain droid head from it. Then you have to show it to Kiph at the cantina. After that, you'll be treated to a cutscene. Later, go talk to Nikko to complete the quest after the cutscene.

I bought the HK parts from 1B-8D but could not get it to talk about the "missing head of the droid". Is there some other step I must do to get it to engage in this conversation? I've talked to all the other characters about the murder.
Take a look at the Onderon walkthrough on this site. Otherwise I believe you talk to Kiph to get him to repair the droid head to see a cutscene and then go tell Nikko about the evidence.
Here is a wise saying from Luke Skywalker, "NNNNNNNNNNNOOOOOOOOO!!!!" And that was a word from Luke. Have a nice day!
When I try to talk to Panar he tells me to hit the trail?! I can't get him to talk about a missing head of a droid! Is there some sequence I'm missing here?
after you have talk to Captain Rikken, go and talk to nikko make sure you have askd him all the questions then talk to kiph, then go to panar, then you chould get the dialog to 1B-8D to buy the droid parts....
Zabuza Momochi: Your words cut deep....Deeper than any blade.
I'm wondering if there is a cheat that can get me past this?
I've spoken to Rikken, Nikko, Panar (when I did it with some Dark Side going on he talked to me about more stuff - like getting rid of the Capt. in the bar) and I've exhausted the conversation with 1B-8D. Nothing - no head, no convesation about things to take to Kiph...nothing.

Not that I know of, unless you use a save game editor, that is.

I suggest you try reloading your previous save before starting this Dhagon Ghent's murder case. Then you do as what the others here have just mentioned. Perhaps you might get it to work. If this doesn't work, I suggest you patch your game to see whether this problem still persists.

No, all Panar does is tell me to get lost. Nothing more - I've gone through all the questions. Could it be because I've done this several times and am clicking through the dialogue it is not picking up things?
The only time I've gotten him to do anything but tell me to leave is when I helped the mob and got "dark side" points.

I went all the way back to the Training Academy and did all the stuff to get Mandalor to take me to Onderon and it still did not work!
I'm wondering if it matters whose side I take in the Mob situation?
@Mace Elo: Do not post back-to-back posts. Simply edit your first post if you wish to add anything else, such as a response to another member you might have missed the first time around. I understand why you did that here. In the future, use the edit function.

Sorry I can't be of much help here. I have run out of options.

No, it doesn't. Spoilers, please highlight: Spoiler
No. The mob will still attack you even though you said that you support either General Vaklu or Queen Talia.

Re-examine the debrie pile outside the bar. You will then see a droid without a head. Go back into the bar & talk to the folks again. Conversation should get to the droid. Then go to 1b & buy the head. Also, check the active quest screen. Should give you a clue as to what you need to do. I believe it might say something like "maybe you should examine the crime scene"
