jedi master robes
i need some help locating dark jedi or jedi master robes. help is greatly appreciated.
Oh,I forgot another thing. I got a Dark Jedi Master robe and Red Double-bladed lightsaber when I killed the Sith Master in Freedon Nadd's tomb. Other than that most items are random.
Here is a wise saying from Luke Skywalker, "NNNNNNNNNNNOOOOOOOOO!!!!" And that was a word from Luke. Have a nice day!
Yea, I agree so I could create a character named Darth Nihilus. I mean they allow you to were other masks too.
I haven'nt got a Dark Jedi Master Robe this game, but I have gotten a Jedi Master Robe but can't remember where. I will post here when I remember.

Pain in the neck
This realy annoys me as well
if you are playing as DS you can only get Jdi master robes from Vrook.......
and when playing LS you can only get Master jedi robes somewhere in That place at the end on MAlachor V.
Darth sion has dark jedi master robes which is good right near the end though
Mephisto

two words: RANDOM DROPS. they aren`t really in any set location, I got dark jedi master robes on Peragus just yesterday. and regular master robes in the cave where you have to rescue vrook. and agian on Nar Shadaa.
After the darkness calls my name,I slowly lose my sense of self, If I don`t awaken from this hell, then all I am will cease to be.

Yeah. Stupid random drops. This system was implemented back at Neverwinter Nights and it's very troublesome. Might be fine if you want to get great items at whichever part of the game and what not but, to me, it really tests your patience because of how frustrating it is at most times.LordVader wrote:they shouldnt have done that random drop crap its pissing me off really .. getting jedi master robe at peragus lol i got one lol towards the end of the game so i barely got to use it

Yup, that's true and it's been confirmed as well, though I can't quite recall who mentioned it. Anyway, I don't really like random drops to be honest, especially in the case of KOTOR 2 where you play for a number of times just to get the better items. No deal. Once I finished a game, it's done. No amount of great items is going to entice me to pick it up again.bigredpanda wrote:Didn't someone say back in another thread that random drops basically got more fortuuitous the more times you played the game through? Can't remember who posted that, or if it was verified...

I always thought this was just a rumour, but after playing the game 12 times or so I uninstalled and reinstalled it to get rid of some dodgy patches for certain, and the difference is REALLY noticable. I had been getting some amazing items even on Peragus...now I'm getting rubbish on MalachorDesR85 wrote:Yup, that's true and it's been confirmed as well, though I can't quite recall who mentioned it.
Does anyone know whether it is starting a game or winning a game that increments the luck? I ask because I have a dozen or so part finished games, and I'm wondering whether to bother...
I'm really surprised that so many people here have been saying that random drops are a bad idea. I thought it was one of the best improvements made to KOTOR2; I find it improves the replayability immensely. With fixed drops, you get to know what's in every box and body, and you just go through on autopilot. The chance of finding a good item means that it remains exciting. Plus which, you end up with different items and equipment every game; in KOTOR a person basically wears the same equipment and has the same saber every time.LordVader wrote:they shouldnt have done that random drop crap its pissing me off really .. getting jedi master robe at peragus lol i got one lol towards the end of the game so i barely got to use it
It largely depends on people's tastes. Some would find it okay while others won't like it at all. As for me, I really find it frustrating to just replay a game in order to get better items as what I mentioned previously. Also, since I already know the whole plot of KOTOR 2 after my first round, there is no incentive for me to play it over again.Alcina wrote:I'm really surprised that so many people here have been saying that random drops are a bad idea.
