I just got through the game for the first time and ...
Spoiler
I was a light sider and took the path of trying to redeem Kreia during the fight and when it was over and she asked if i wanted to see the future I chose to let it come, WRONG choice. In choosing that you watch the planet explode, you dont even see how Bao-Dur's little repair droid gets past GO-TO, and then it is over! No wrapping up of anything, just a slew of credits.
I did go back and redo the last battle so i could beat her again and I asked all about the future and that was a little better. Still I guess I was expecting a little more.
I will survive i guess, it was just kinda disappointing. Am I alone in thinking this?
Welcome to the forums. Hope you enjoy your time here. And about your statement, yes I agree with you and a lot of people here will in one way or the other. A lot of questions and so few answers plus a hanging ending. Some ending....
''They say truth is the first casualty of war. But who defines what's true? Truth is just a matter of perspective. The duty of every soldier is to protect the innocent, and sometimes that means preserving the lie of good and evil, that war isn't just natural selection played out on a grand scale. The only truth I found is that the world we live in is a giant tinderbox. All it takes...is someone to light the match" - Captain Price
Welcome & I hope you keep posting. Plenty of help & opinions around here to keep you intrested for years
The ending was horrible for me too. The one thing I did not like in the whole game was the dialog options. When you ask a question / respond, it is still in the dialog screen. Very confusing for me to keep track with what was said & what I asked. Felt it made me sound like a babbling fool at times. For example:
Kiera says "What is this place?"
1. Not Kansas
2. Lord Vaders bathroom
3. Don't you know?
4. Who cares? Let's go.
Now, you say #1, the next time I felt it should disappear from the options. Then as you ask 2 & 3 they too disappear until you just have 4, then they all come back.
So you are not alone. I too had to play the game from the final sceen over & over just to understand the end dialog.

In the main menu you can watch all the cut scenes (movies) you have unlocked. I think there are 65 total & you can watch the ones you have unlocked. I believe you have to play a few times due to some scenes being ls, some ds. So to unlock all 65 you need 1 ls game & 1 ds game (at least).
As far as Bao in part 3, I'm a little skeptic he even made it past the Malicore landing. If you listen to his hologram, he seems to be talking to his floating ball in the past tense, meaning it was a program to run upon his demise. So I wonder......
there is no movie (on the xbox version anyway) of remote getting past go-to and yes remote is supposed to stay behind and make sure the mass shadow effect goes
KotOR I and II Veteran; Oblivion Veteran; Fallout 3 and New Vegas Veteran
Correct! No movie of remote getting past GO-TO on pc either. I believe it is part of the 'cut content' that was left out in order to meet the deadline imposed by LucasArt.

No I don't think it was programmed to run on his demise. He told the Remote about the Mass shield destructer or whatever it was on Malachor. How would he know when and where he's going to die? For all he knows he could've died all the way back on Telos. Heck he could've died the first battle on Dxun in the Mandalorian War. So I don't think it was running on his demise.
nah, nah, nah, nah, nah. See that's the part where you jump out and go "AAAAHH!!!!!!!" when people don't know you're there.

I must confess, you got more than I did. All I saw when I completed it was a movie of the Hawk speeding away from Malachor, then the planet exploded. No future, didn't even see Kreia dying iirc, her health bar hit zero and then that was it, cut to the Hawk flying away. Never found out what happened until I read some forum posts/websites.
