Anyone Ever Dual-Skie

Post by Jordoo »

Tried to dual class Skie to a mage last night after she made level 5 theif.
The Dual-Class button was not highlighted. She has 18 Dex and 15 Int and is Human what am I missing here.

Never used her before but assumed she could be dualled with those stats.
I am using tutu. But that shouldn't make a difference.
:) Once again time to give someone the boot to make room for Coran. LOL :)

Dual classing prerequisite is 15 in the primary stat for original class and 17 for the new class. So Skie doesn't have enough intelligence as it has to be at least 17.

I guess I could Cheat her a couple of Tomes to bump her to 17 Int. I havn't gotten the one in the game so I would only need one more. But I don't know about cheating it I'll have to think about it. Just that I planned one dualling her to a mage all this time and now AAAHHH AAAHHH.

Ease-of-use has a component which allows dualclassing even with lower stats IIRC.
I'd dual her to a specialist mage after level6.

If I installed the ease of use Mod now would it affect my currant tutu games?

Also was wondering if a potion of genius would fool the game so I could dual her. Probably still goes by base stats though.

I was just about to cheat in some tombes of Inteligance so I could Dual Skie. But I realized I was really playing her to see what she was like as an NPC so why cheat her and myself by making her a powerful mage that she was not meant to be.

Anyways maybe I'm growing as a person or just getting old. Just couldn't bring my self to cheat her int up. And it's fine I have a bard and a fighter/illusionist so plenty of spells.

=grin= As long as you're roleplaying you could realise that Skie isn't the brightest girl on the Sword Coast. Her 15 points in intelligence seem a bit much, even. Don't get me wrong, I love Skie and Eldoth, but IMHO Skie wasn't meant for anything, except drinking cocktails that come with an umbrella.
