The tower of Lake Lohr

I have made it across the field of Those killer mushroom looking things and swam across the lake to the tower. I killed the Shade and went up the ladder from the first level to the second. When I try to go up the second ladder my charecter will climb to the top and just keep climbing.I cant get to the top to access the alter so I can continue one the quest. I would like to know if this is a game glitch or did I forget to do something. I only bought the game yesterday and I'm kinda new at the RPG style games. Any help would be apreciated very much. Thank you.

You have four choices,

1. start over with a character other than your present Urgoth,

2. head back toward Fargrove and go north and west past candle shrine to Talendor and west past lost lake and south into Arindale.

3. find someone willing to get your save by email so they can hex edit your position to end up on the top of the tower.

4. install net framework 1.0, then download Steve2d's editor and change your location.

Why would he have to change from Urgoth?

Urgoth

Sounds like Urgoth is just too big to pass through that small hole where the ladder leads (I have not personally experienced this myself)

Did you read my first response to your first post? It tells you EXACTLY what to do and those are the ONLY 4 possibilities

I wouldnt go thru all that junk, Uninstall your game (your saved games will be saved dont worry). If you dont want to chance it copy the save folder and put it back after your clean install. I didnt have that problem with the ladder. that happend to me when I was getting a relic with a lvl 35 worlock except I got stuck in the wall over an over. It went away with a clean install.

The Urgoth character will NOT fit through the top hole of the tower. DC/HP has acknoledged this. And I absolutely doubt you did not have this game bug when playing as an Urgoth. Please do not mislead other gamers when they get sound advice from someone who knows the game in and out.

I have played the game with every character, numerous times over, so you probably can't tell me anything new. I no longer play DL strictly for pleasure, rather, I play it over and over to squeeze out every oddity I can possibly find.
