Does anyone know if there is any point where you can kill Saemon. The backstabbing weasel ( I call him a backstabbing weasel to avoid unnessessary profanity) really needs a sword shoved into some unmentionable part of his anatomy.

I don't think you ever get to kill him.

lol, sure you can. I just told for him to wait for me at the docks and then I disintigrated him. It really felt good to stick it to that punk

yeah but if you do that then you miss a whole area of the game (spoilers so highlight):

which you get by travelling on his boat. If you take his boat back then you cannot kill him as he teleports to safety when it sinks

you miss the sanguain part of the game which is more of a hassle than anything else. The only reason I would even consider doing it is for the cloak of reflection but even that isn't really worth it. Besides the question is can you kill Saemon, not whether or not it will cause you to miss out on a couple of subquests

I cast imprison on him during a certain fight between certain parties on a boat out at sea. Imagining how impossible for someone to resurect him from the depths of the middle of the ocean brings a smile to my face.

yes well for those of us who didn't hack the game, turning him into a pile of dust is equally satisfying

Although it's tough, I have been able to knock off the twerp a few times on the boat. Pin him with two meleers and a mage giving him a little grief, and he passes on before he makes his escape.

He's worth a decent amount of xp on the boat too.

BTW, he'll still show up later, even if you kill him in ToB.
