grand soul gem help(sorta)

I've been collecting a lot of grand soul gems, they're all empty, and I was wondering what would be the best person/creature/animal to soul steal to make the grand soul gems have a grand soul level. Any help would be appreciated.

Xivilai and Lich's - grand souls for sure, I don't remember about the others at this moment but search the forums, there's a list of how the souls go posted way back.

i dont really know about black soul gem levles or if they even have any.

SPOILERS
You can make black soul gems (I've done it) and they can trap the souls of Humanoids, at about 200 points higher than a Grand Soul.

*spoilers in here some where* do they all have the same amont of points or does it change? Id like to get some daedra and oh, could u list some place where the altars are and possible what day there active to make black sould gems?

Daedra are easy. I don't even think they count as Grand Souls. Great Souls, maybe.
For Dark Souls, I can't tell you about points, but I don't think they change. The only altar is at the Dark Fissure, southeast of Cheydinhall. That's the only place where you can make Dark Soul Gems. I don't know about time-lines for making them. There has to be a light shining on the altar at night-time, but I think one of the moons has to be over the altar at the same time. I'm not sure which. I'll post it when I know for sure.

Ironically, *empty* Grand Soul stones are alot more valuable than Full ones.

Until you want to enchant an item, i'd keep them empty, as there are a few quests that require you to collect empty Grand's, and one that requires you to make a black one.

oh usefulness definitely.

I wouldn't dream of selling a full or empty Grand Soul stone (though partially filled ones are worthy candidates for sale - once you have azuras star ofcourse.)

Nay they´re not, a highest u get is that 1600 pts
