Q on Ancient Cullis Gate

Post by telemantros »

I've read the majority of posts on this topic and still have yet to find a solution. I guess i'm wondering where to stand and/or which direction to come in from?

I typically come through Darkwood Weir and then move north up to the cullis gate and stand to the right of the gate. I have just gotten done with the Undead Quest and am about ready to go into the prison. I've killed the Assasins in Knotholeglade, Windmill Hill and Prision Path. And i'm not being impatient either. I've stood there for 8 minutes waiting; this has happened to both characters that i've created. Thoughts would be appreciated.

Standing around won't help you any. It's not a timed event. You have to walk to the right spot, so just move around the focus sphere, and move up and down the path next to it if necessary. Eventually the assassin should appear.
