SPOILER: Scrolls

Post by DRG »

My character is a fighter. I am in the Blacklake District and I want to use the scroll to turn the tree into a portal. How can I do that?

I think you can just click on the tree while the scroll is in your possession. I don't think you actually have to use the scroll if I remember right.

Plant Scroll

I've tried clicking on the tree, it doesn't work. I tried to put the scroll in a quick slot but it won't let me. I've tried casting a spell, that doesn't work either. Right-clicking on the scroll does not produce a "Use" icon. I'm at a loss. How do I use it?

Are you sure its the right tree? The tree you need is through a door at the end of the back corridor in the zoo itself.

Added spoiler tag to the thread title. Please remember to do this in the future when asking/giving out information which can/will spoil quests.

Also please remember to give your thread title a meaningfull name, which will make it easier for people to help you out :)

As for your problem, then I think mr_sir is correct. it has been a very long time since I've played the game, but I did not have any problems clicking the tree.

Thank You

Thank you! I should have known to look inside the zoo for the tree! :)

Lol, I did the exact same thing my first time playing - I spent ages trying to get it to work on the tree outside the zoo before I suddenly realised maybe its the wrong tree :)
