You want carnage, get a spell named Wizards Fury or yet even better, make one by yourself. This ofcourse depends a lot on your skill in Destruction/INT/magika...
So make a spell with shock, fire and frost damage, cruel effects are always prefered. To amplify the damage you can try making a spell with Weakness to fire with a 50-100%,that will double your damage.
Umm...i don't think any other spell school actualy deals damage thus directly.

Though paralysis for 1 second is a nice thing to couple with any destruction combo
Incidentally, I was wondering - which effect is applied first when placing both weakness & destruction effects together?
It seems bizarre that you can effectively double the effect of a destruction spell by simply coupling it with a '100% weakness for 1 second' effect.

Damage Health is a munchkin spell. From what I've seen in MW, it did twice as much damage as any standard destruction spell of similar value, and I understand that's pretty much the same in Oblivion. Of course, you won't find it possible at the highest levels, but earlier in the game, it's very competitive.
To the Righteous belong the fruits of violent victory. The rest of us will have to settle for warm friends, warm lovers, and a wink from a quietly supportive universe.
