Question about weapon proficiencies

Post by ufo0697 »

How do I add the unused slots from the weapon proficiencies to the weapons? I finished the game twice already and still got no clue...

Well, you'd talk to one of the "trainers" and they'd give you an option in which skill to train. It's all done through the dialogue.

The master trainer is the big thug guy, wearing all black, right at the main entrance of the Lower Ward.

In order to actually put points into the weapon proficiencies, you'll have to become a fighter once again, but that's no problem as the Clerk's Ward has many people who can train you back to the original class, if you weren't a fighter to begin with.
“The world breaks every one and afterward many are strong at the broken places. But those that will not break it kills. It kills the very good and the very gentle and the very brave impartially.”

There's also a decent trainer found in the Northwestern section of the Hive. Once you help that person by completing their quest you'll have access to the training. I think the name of the trainer is Porphiron (something like that).
The trainers in the Clerk's Ward and Lower Ward will be able to train you to higher levels of ability though.

So does that mean I can only add weapon proficiencies by going through the NPC's training? I was think there maybe a way to add it manually... Well, thanks anyway.
