Nordom and using a Teleport Gem (potential spoilers)

Post by dragon wench »

My memory is poor and I can't recall this from the the last time I played the game...

I am currently in the Modron Maze looking for Nordum. I was fortunate enough to find a teleport lens very soon after setting the difficulty level to hard.

Although I haven't yet located Nordum I need to head back into Sigil to sell loot and buy healing items. I know that the Rubikon is likely to reset once I leave it, but will leaving before locating Nordum negatively influence my finding him?

I think it only resets if you ask the modrons at the beginning of the maze to reset it, so Nordom should stay in the same location in the Maze, wherever that is.

As Ravager says. If you don't speak to the modrons and specifically request that they reset the maze, it will remain just as it was. No attackers will respawn.

Modron himself is off roughly WNW. You have to enter his room from an east-facing door.
To the Righteous belong the fruits of violent victory. The rest of us will have to settle for warm friends, warm lovers, and a wink from a quietly supportive universe.

Thanks guys ;)
I found Nordum after a lot of persistence. I couldn't recall it having been quite that difficult before. Though, I guess it is pretty random.

All of the hunting around paid off, however. I had been annotating my map as I went along, writing down dead ends, and so on. I also came across the Wizard's Lair and was able to leave some directional pointers for myself. So when I found Nordum, locating the Wizard was simple, which made the whole encounter immeasurably easier... :D

Anyway,
Cheers!
